Rarerat February 18, 2014 at 1:08 pm

What is really scary is this “educated” person is teaching our kids.

thesheenz February 18, 2014 at 1:18 pm

He is quite direct, but right. She is not doing water polo right now, so
technically that $$ only made her happy during that time. It was probably a
great experience for her, but it costed her 145K….damn.

Kelly Schneider February 18, 2014 at 2:17 pm

This doesn’t sound right. I’m a former Division I athlete. She must have
borrowed way more money than she needed for school.

ejp318 February 18, 2014 at 5:33 pm

Damn! I’m nowhere close to that much student loan debt

Erick Gomez February 18, 2014 at 6:14 pm

Poor girl

bidbuytom February 18, 2014 at 6:36 pm

The caller is an idiot.

Wendy Morris February 18, 2014 at 6:39 pm

If she works 10 years in a public K-12 school system, won’t many of the
federal-supported student loans be discharged?

MrBoris7910 February 18, 2014 at 6:59 pm

well said Dave

faqu529 February 18, 2014 at 7:43 pm

WHOA, this girl is screwed. However, she went to a division 1 school. LOL!

safasd saf February 18, 2014 at 8:28 pm

what a maroon

Christina Mora February 18, 2014 at 8:30 pm

She needs to look into student loan forgiveness programs for educators to
help offset some of this debt. Usually there are stipulations at the type
of schools you have to teach at, but can make a dent in some of her debt.
There should some type of loan to “income potential” formula that they take
into consideration before loaning someone $175k with the potential of
earning less than $40k….then again, they make their money on

Preach Ramsey !

ripperduck February 18, 2014 at 9:31 pm

I listened to this ahole one more time, just to see if I got my first my
impressions right. I was, Dave Ramsey is flat out coward, beating up on
some caller, when he could have taken the opportunity to go after the far
bigger criminals, the banks and universities. This sanctimonious fat
jackass has a University of Tennessee football in some trophy case. What
the hell do you think that U of T has been doing with their student
athletes, you jackass, do you think that they’re not exploiting ignorant
young men in order to pay out far too much for football, while ever growing
numbers of citizens can no longer attend their own flagship uni? You god
damn hypocrite, yapping at some young woman, while you promote SEC

ripperduck February 18, 2014 at 9:31 pm

The real problem that this host is missing is that the woman was lied to by
the University of Michigan. Yeah, she should have quit when she found out
that the U of M was running a scam, but the fact is, she didn’t just go to
play water polo, you god damn idiot, she went there to also get a degree,
which she did receive. The point is that the universities are running
scams, you fat, bald fuck, the colleges, along with the FEDs/banks, are
involved with criminal activity. It’s already been investigated, the
financial aide departments of unis have been fraudulently telling students
to get loans, when they know that they’re terrible and then lie about the
conditions. So why don’t you get off your ever expanding sanctimonious ass,
and attack the real culprits in this whole scenario, the colleges/Wall
