Best banks for stated income loans?

I live in Illinois and my husband and I have bad credit, but I dont want that to change anyones answers b/c we are planning to apply in 6mo to a year.

If you have bad credit, then you can forget about a stated income loan…even the A-paper lenders are stopping with the underwriting of these loans.

Better fix your credit, and if you can’t prove your income or making it up, you need to fix it.

Your best option for finding what you are looking for is to utilize a broker that you can trust (either by referral, or by developing a new relationship with one) and allowing them to take your “present situation” and match it up to what is available to you (program and rate) in the market at THAT time. Another thing you need to do, since you have at least 6 months before this is a reality, is engage in some form of credit repair. This is also a mission, because not all of them are honest or effective. I have resources you could utilize for that, but I can also help you with your new financing when the time comes. State Income Loans? maybe going to be possible again in 2012, if your planing to fixed your credit, don`t forget to save money for down payment too, and looking for something cheap, to qualify for full doc`s. this is a bubble burs time. bank it`s not ease anymore!
