HSBC SHARES PLUNGE
HSBC shares plunge
HONG KONG – SHARES in HSBC plunged on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on Tuesday, after the promissory note titan reported unsatisfactory formula for 2009. Shares in the heavyweight fell 6.35 per cent to HK$81.15 at around 0245 GMT (10.45am Singapore time), boring the benchmark Hang Seng Index down by 0.67 per cent.
