Payroll loans are very short – usually next pay period.

There is such a thing as a “bridge loan” which can be a very short timed loan ( a few days) when involved in business transactions. { Like closing on the house you are BUYING on Tuesday, but you won’t get the $ from SELLING your prior house until Thursday.}

Or you might have a huge CD coming due Friday, but find it cheaper to short term borrow on Monday, than to lose 6 months interest cashing the CD 5 days early.

Some banks – if you are a long time valued customer – will give a 30 day note.

But not unless you are a long time customer with a good history with them.
