MY MOTHER AND I SHARED A HOME FOR 35 YEARS. IN 1990 I PAID OFF THE MORTGAGE WHAT ARE MY RIGHTS AS TO THE HOME?

She died instestate. I have 7 siblings.What have been my rights to the home. This is the state of Maryland. The law says which it is to be similarly divided. She additionally had a retreat debt of $85000.00 as of Jun 05. I have put thousands of dollars in to this home,because at which time she had no income until 1990. I paid all of the bills and done repairs to the home. What can I do to keep the home? I do not know if we have corner tenancy. The assistance of certitude which was sent to me when the residence was creatively paid off has my name firts and afterwards hers. NOTHING was altered in the state of Maryland files as far as I could see. I need help. The Reverse Mortgage people will NOT speak to me even tho I sent in the forms and was authorized by the bank in November 05 to compensate off the loan. They as of this date will not speak to me.My mom died Oct 05.

that is to say your mother was the real owner of this house before she died, so before u made any payments according to you since u said u had 7 siblings, why dont you let them be aware of it and try to documents all you are paying out on this house. you must have at least one witness. but to me she is your mum and is your siblings same parent. if yes since you paid the morgage up u shld owns that house but if is another issue dat is in your mother will concerning d house you shld decide to sell up the house den u can take all your investments in the house before u share d remaining money left.

After reading your question,completely it became clear to me(Legalwriter) that your problem lies in the fact that the homestead is in dual names.I’m almost possitive it dosen’t who’s name is first on the document. I’m sorry.
