Couldn’t agree with Sen. Warren more. At one point in time, higher
education actually WAS free (or damn near) because it was subsidized by the
higher tax rates that followed WW2 up until about 1973~1977.

The benefit to the country in having a skilled, educated labor force vastly
outstrips whatever shortsighted gains are being made on the interest from
these loans. I would dearly like to know just where that money goes as well
– more than likely to nonsense like Congressional pensions.

I continue to support Sen. Elizabeth Warren as a key aide to Pres. Hillary
Clinton.

Wow, only 2 dislikes? Where the Republicans at?

If you want to vote for change, support Elizabeth Warren. Don’t count on
Hilary because Wall Street owns her as much as the Republicans they own.

She’s going to be a fantastic president in 2024 (after Hilary I presume)
for a whole myriad of reasons.

Why D.L. didn’t ask her about her support of the War Crimes committed by
Zionist Israeli Regime? In my option she is Neo-Nazi and the only
difference between her and Hitler is that she is Zionist and advocates the
destruction of Palestinians instead of Jews.
she justifies her unconditional support of Israel by arguing that Israel is
the ” Only Liberal Democracy in the Middle East”!!!
Even if we agree that Israel is a Liberal Democracy, which is not, that
still does not give them the right to bomb and massacre the civilians under
their occupation! That still does not justify our unconditional support of
Israel.

I consider my self a Liberal Democrat, and am wondering why no one gives
me $3.5B/Year :)

Shes delusional ,Banks were FREE before 2008 and now they are filled with
fees and the fees are dam high too and no interest anymore on our
savings, getting a loan or mortage is now a burden and small biz loans are
NIL. Banks have more cash now than ever before ! Student loans shes right
66 Billion in profits for govt is way out of line but asking the rich to
pay it down, how about the govt give up the profits..Tuition has skyrocketed
because of GOVT!

Thank you Elizabeth! You just told our story, it’s 100% true and I’m
living it!

My Loans almost doubled from 2009 to 2014.. from 90k to almost 170 thousand
dollars! (and I pay every month!!) If this doesn’t change I’ll be a slave
for the rest of my life. And other millions of students.
