At orientation this year, my college had a info booth for SALT . I didn’t really know what they did, or if they were legitimate, so I’m glad I found this video. It helped me understand a little more! 🙂

Hoor Al-Sammarraie July 25, 2013 at 3:33 am

Would this work in Canada?

MsPink0769 July 25, 2013 at 3:56 am

If I didn’t have to pay off my student loans would put that money aside as a deposit for a house. As it is I doubt I’ll be able to afford a house until I’m in my thirties.

Thanks so much for the advice! I’m checking SALT out right now!

I haven’t even started college, I don’t even know where I want to go to college. I don’t want to think about this yet lol. A video on choosing a college and major could be awesome! :)

malasar14 July 25, 2013 at 6:13 am

Living with roommates.

AleeshaC July 25, 2013 at 6:18 am

I am graduating tomorrow and I just saw how much debt I have from loans D: terrifying! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

pigwidgeons July 25, 2013 at 6:24 am

Dude if I didn’t have to pay my loans, I’d be able to buy a nice car and afford insurance payments for a solid year or two and probably still have money left over.
PS. Great video! I’m looking forward to these.

MissLanaLove July 25, 2013 at 6:52 am

thank you for this information! 🙂
I would definitely put that money towards a down payment on my first home.
How about a video on tips for first time buyers?

MrCloudlessDread July 25, 2013 at 7:10 am

Hey Dot! Great new video, I see a tonnnn of improvement. 🙂 See if you can get Kevin and/or Sam to make some background music. That is all…Also you are beautiful, tell Kevin he is a lucky man 😀

Winning the money… Does this apply to only Americans? Or does it apply to everyone? I’m Canadian.

RockManLP July 25, 2013 at 8:04 am

maybe you can cover taxes

I love this ! I’m finishing school in a few years and I feel llike this series will help me learn things i never thought about before going to college !

mckennawtk July 25, 2013 at 9:31 am

I loved this style video. I love seeing more of your personality! Don’t be afraid to show it, it’s great. 🙂 And people are just jealous they don’t have as much fun as you guys do.

waterfilterlove July 25, 2013 at 10:15 am

I think I’m going to like this series. I’m the same age as you and have a lot of life stuff figured out (like I’ve been doing my laundry for years), but things like student loans still give me anxiety. Glad you’re sharing your experiences and will help so many others!

If I didn’t have to pay off any loans, I would upgrade to a nicer apartment. Not that I live in the slums, but some more closet space would be awesome. 🙂

Aquatri007 July 25, 2013 at 11:10 am

Love the tips video! Can’t wait to see the next one. My advice to everyone is to not get student loans in the first place. I don’t have any, because I worked my way through college and paid as I go. It’s possible.

spartanisfly July 25, 2013 at 11:29 am

Hey man I can help you out with that! Hit me up and I’ll tell you how to change your life financially

jophie July 25, 2013 at 11:43 am

I really like the concept of this video.

my question is things I need to have and know for moving out.

Emma Marie July 25, 2013 at 12:09 pm

Wow I could buy the truck I want or pay off 1/7 of my mortgage :)

Tom3030 July 25, 2013 at 1:00 pm

10.000 Dollars, followed by a big smile. That was so cute 🙂

VeronicaKG July 25, 2013 at 1:58 pm

If I didn’t have to pay my student loans I probably could by a house in cash. 🙁
