WITHDRAW 403B OR ROLLOVER TO IRA?

Im going to propagandize subsequent division so Im shift my standing to per diem, and I kinda need the income …I have $6000 in savings, stafford loans and a primogenitor and loans…I now have 5000 in my 403b. I now live in texas so there is no state income tax. I know I will be penalized with 20% taxation and 10% early withdrawal fee. If I hurl it in to an IRA, can I repel all of it after on if unequivocally do need the income along with the penalties? I was formulation in withdrawing all of it from 403b in the initial place……..

I think I read that they waive the penalty if it is for education or medical emergency. Check with whomever is holding it.

No. IRA functions almost like 403b, you can only use the money for first time home buying and something else i cant remember. The truth of the matter is that it doesnt matter whether is in the ira or the 403b you will be penalized if you take the money out.

Why would you willingly throw 1500 away. That is the minimum it will cost you for the early withdrawal. Find another way and leave that money sit.
